Darryl is the driver of Applied Residential's vision and is a nationally known leader in the use of lease option for the residential real estate market. In 2001, he identified the need for a scalable financing program, equivalent to that used for autos, whereby consumers select the home they wish and utilize lease financing without the costs and risks associated with residential mortgages.
Darryl spent the first 10 years of his career in corporate finance and technology with a specialization in real estate and technology. Since 2001, he's refined this experience directly with consumers through his ownership and operation of firms specializing in residential transactions, mortgage origination, single-family and multi-family management, development, and lease option.
Patrick Howard

Mr. Howard engineers and manages the structured finance behind Applied Residential's programs, including bond financed programs, and other innovative offerings. Patrick brings significant experience in having been involved in well over a billion dollars of debt and equity financings in his career. Additionally, he leads Applied Residential's government and non-profit housing programs and has financed hundreds of millions in government and non-profit housing projects.
Patrick served in many leadership positions for early stage companies involved in real estate development, investment banking, energy, and varied green initiatives. He formerly held Series 7, 52, 53, and 63 Securities Licenses and a Washington Real Estate Sales License.
